Stolen Tires

Dee-Alta Tires & Auto Repair, of Blackie, near High River, AB, reports that a number of tires were stolen from a container on its premises over the weekend. Thieves cut into a container using a welding torch and in the process ignited a tire which started a fire. Between 30 and 40 tires were taken, mostly Firestone Transforce AT, as well as several Hankook 15 and 16 in. Lt. Truck tires. This appears to be one of a series of tire thefts in the area.
