Mission Statement: An industry united to work together to improve our industry through safety, education and training, and lobby effectively
The Western Canada Tire Dealers Association began in 1962 when a group of independent tire dealers saw the need to unite the industry and work together to improve our industry, and improve education. Our association has grown to over 900 members throughout western Canada, the Yukon and NWT and is dedicated to the independent tire dealer.
The association was instrumental in initiating provincial tire recycling programs; 1991 in British Columbia, 1992 in Alberta, 1995 in Manitoba and 1996 in Saskatchewan. Since the inception of these programs a combined total equal to 149.2 million tires have been recycled and saved from the environment.
We have also adopted the industries only recognized tire installer training programs insuring our clients receive the best in service and our staff enjoys the best in workplace safety.
